Nigel today hosted a group of A-level politics students from Stonyhurst College, who were visiting Parliament for the day.
Speaking from Westminster Mr Evans said,
“It is always a pleasure to meet any of my constituents in Parliament, but it is a particular pleasure to meet members of a younger generation who are just beginning to take an active interest in politics.
I met with the pupils during their tour of Parliament prior to them attending Prime Minister’s Questions. Speaking with them afterwards it was clear that the day had given them a fantastic insight into how the House of Commons works and one which will certainly help them with their forthcoming studies.
I would encourage all local schools to come and visit Parliament, and give their pupils the opportunity to enjoy the same experience as the pupils from Stonyhurst.”
