Nigel has today welcomed the announcement that the Clitheroe Food Festival will return for a fifth year on Saturday 8th August.
Speaking from Westminster this morning Mr Evans said,
“We in the Ribble Valley are extremely fortunate to have some of the best pubs and restaurants anywhere in the country, along with some of the best local produce and suppliers. The Clitheroe Food Festival is an excellent opportunity for our area to show this off to the thousands of visitors who will come to the town for the festival.
Whether it is Cowman’s famous sausages or beer from Bowland brewery our area has the best local produce to offer. Not only do these businesses create great products, but they also provide valuable jobs for local people.
I very much look forward to attending the event again this year and am sure that the Clitheroe Food Festival will return again for a sixth year in 2016.”
