Nigel has been elected as a member of the Public Administration Select Committee (PASC).
PASC plays a vital role in examining the quality and standards of administration within the Civil Service whilst also scrutinising the reports of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
Speaking from Westminster, Nigel said:
"I am really excited to have got on this particular Committee. One of the next inquiries that PASC will undertake is ‘Accountability of quangos and public bodies’. These inquiries are vitally important and impact on the daily lives of people.”
