Ribble Valley Conservative Party candidate Nigel Evans recently paid a visit to the North West Air Ambulance Charity at Lytham to learn more about the work of their medical staff and fundraising activities.
Speaking after the visit Mr Evans said;
“I was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the North West Air Ambulance and see the important work they do. The medical teams, pilots and generosity of Ribble Valley folk who help provide much needed resources to ensure the services can deliver paramedics to deliver assistance across the region, saving lives every single day.
As I visited the site, the air ambulance took off to attend to a patient at Dunsop Bridge. Just another example of how important the North West Air Ambulance is to the people of Ribble Valley.
The North West Air Ambulance Charity are reliant on the generosity of donors to keep them in the air and I am committed to continuing to support the work they do and would urge members of the public to do what they can to support this vital community service.”
