Nigel has today welcomed the news that a Bamber Bridge based company has been announced as a winner of one of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.
Established in 1919, Evans Vanodine International is an exporter of cleaning and hygiene chemicals to 72 countries worldwide and employs almost 150 people at its site at Walton Summit Centre.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is a programme for British businesses who excel in overseas trade, innovation or sustainable development. To win an award a company must show successful, increasing exports over a 3 year period.
Speaking from Westminster this morning Mr Evans said,
“The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK and recognise some of the most outstanding companies nationwide, with Evans Vanodine being one. It is fantastic news for the Ribble Valley to have a business with such strong overseas trade and one which employs so many local people.”
