Ribble Valley MP, Nigel Evans has articulated his excitement for the launch of the new radio station, Ribble FM which airs on the 25th July at 7.00 am on 106.7 FM
The radio station highlights that there is nothing more important than local community and enhancing the local area by providing to listeners a true insight of the Ribble Valley’s villages, residents and local businesses, something highly favoured by Nigel Evans.
Nigel stated,
“Community is a big part of the residents in the Ribble Valley and this radio station will deliver just that. Radio stations are becoming increasingly popular among citizens and each individual will benefit from this new initiative.”
Moreover, Ribble FM will be the first direct radio station to be aired in the surrounding area and their mantra evokes an excellent sense of community spirit but also provides jobs for budding radio enthusiasts. Similarly, the notion is supported by local businesses such as Fort Vale, DSM Chartered Accountants, Bowker Ribble Valley and much more. Not only does this convey popular sponsorship but also the future of this new prospect being highly anticipated as a success.
The new radio station provides online streaming facilities via the website, it also offers the opportunity to download the TuneIn Smartphone App and they have their own which is available to the public who have iPhone and Android devices.
Finally Nigel added,
“I hope this idea is a great triumph as the vision deserves great acknowledgement by the local community and businesses in the Ribble Valley. It is amazing how hard the team has worked to produce this radio station, especially Kath Lord-Green who is Ribble FM’s station manager. I would urge people to get involved in this great new project.”
