Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans yesterday visited the Ribble Valley branch of the Myerscough Veterinary Group, to officially open a new state of the art CT scanner, which is one of only a handful of pet specific machines producing 3D x-rays in the country.
Speaking after the visit Mr Evans said,
“I was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the Myerscough Veterinary Group, and to see the high quality facilities on offer there. Pets are very much a part of families, with their health being taken just as seriously as any other member of the family. This demand for care is evident as this particular centre is open 24 hours a day.
The Myerscough Veterinary Group is a successful local business who have created over 50 local jobs in the past 5 years, an achievement which should be commended. I look forward to its continued success.”
